In every ministry I have been a part of there have been mandatory
volunteer regulations of parents who have children infants thru youth ministry
age. These mandatory regulations have been successful when administered
from the Pastor down thru the pulpit in a sermon on volunteer ministry. I
have found that having parents volunteer 4 Sundays in a row once a year
is the best opportunity for parents and for a volunteer coordinator.
When this happens, it accomplishes so much with many added benefits
.It first produces enough volunteers to assist in any classroom or ministry.
Second, it gets parents involved in areas they may have never been
in or considered, and it also gets parents in to see how organized the
